Sketch and illustrate garden birds with me!
Thursday 6th March 7-9pm GMT (live class with recording)
*Pay what you can*
It seems a perfect time of year to celebrate the birds and in this month’s workshop we are continuing with our annual theme of simple pleasures by doing bit of slow (ish) avian sketching!
This is a really useful workshop if you would like to add birds to your sketchbook as part of a nature journal, or want to explore techniques for simplifying feathery forms into a more illustrative style! If you, like me, are easily bored by standard drawing classes then this one is for you, my friend!
During the class, we will be focusing on drawn line and form with the aim of creating a handy template for you to develop further with your own favourite ways to add colour be it, print, collage, paint, embroidery etc.
This class can be used as a stand alone sketchbook workshop or combined with other Wild Ink classes to build exciting and creative bird based projects! Recommended companion workshops on are:
There is also a special work-a-long on Thursday 20th March 7-8pm GMT where we will be working together on some timed drawing prompts with the opportunity to share your work at the end. You get free access to this by booking onto the main class.
Hope you can join me!
I signed up but just realized my time (CDT) is 2:00. I hope to see you live on the 20th but no firm time for my eye surgery yet that day…🫤 we’ll see
